100,000 years have passed since the events of the previous novella, Static Safety. Trudy learns that Hopper and his administration are planning an expedition to Katinka, his realm’s sentient celestial object. The goal is to establish a permanent base on Her and start exploring the Dream Realm. However, certain members of the administration have other plans. Meanwhile, Kristyn, Trudy and Eden perform so-called “shop talks” in selected businesses in the Archipelago Mall. One of them, an industrious restaurant owner by the name of Sue Kie, wants to start a second business in a peripheral and mostly abandoned section of the eastern side corridor. Will her drive and motivation cause other business owners to do the same, so that this part of the Mall gets “resurrected”?
